“Lucky people are convinced that any ill fortune in their life will, in a long run, work out for the best.  All most after a decade, in congregation with my high school companion, I was astounded when he narrates his distinctive accomplishments.  Here I have a chronicle behind a successful man, how his spectacular knack has transformed bad luck to good.
Everyone believe that getting enrolled in the colleges under a government scholarship is a matter of great pride and satisfaction in one’s life, on top of that being paid with a magnificent prospect to pursue degree in the preferred field is much providential and it should be acknowledged but it is just the other way round for him. After enrolling himself in one of the engineering institutions where the executive, a bookworm keeps narrating stories in every gatherings and never look after the interests of the students, besides heavy subject matter students are tortured by the boorish and aggressive lecturers, animist seniors demand for respect and rag the juniors, the bureaucratic faculties and felon cooks made his college life very despondent and mournful. No conducive, no solace but unpleasant atmosphere intoxicates him. The rules and regulations are very stringent, they keep on changing as and when they like. Faculties are the king of the campus and they proudly say “never challenge a faculty”. Prior to investigations, innocent students are suspended often without any leniency thereby altering heaven to hell. The management doesn’t necessitate any concrete motive to proceed upon such inhuman acts. If such hassle and disaster keeps on hitting the students, can it be a centre of excellence for studies. Will the dream of creating inspiring and innovative engineers on the earth come true? “I was immensely saddened as I didn’t qualify for Engineering in this college but now I think I am fortunate when I see my friends suffering a great humiliation and torture.” said another fellow mate. As a human being, we are prone to being discouraged, depressed, and dejected due to such circumstances. It may ruin the life of the innocent students. It may shatter the dreams, aspirations and expectations of the parents, guardians and well wishers.
I was apparently traumatized on hearing that such institutions do exist on this heavenly earth. In fact he was one of the brilliants and well regimented guy during our school days but he too had a troublesome and intrusion moment. More astonishingly he was suspended for an unanticipated confiscation. Such unexpected harass has drowned him into apprehensions and gloominess. Thousands of thoughts and imaginations intruded within his mind and circumstances distracted him from studies. Failing to clear more than two modules, he is once again suspended. He was further immersed into worries, miseries and sorrows. He drank to the least and indulge himself in unauthentic misbehaves. But his life has never wrecked recklessly under the conspicuous care from a rehabilitation centre and regained his eminent spirit. This is when his life changed forever and learnt the truth that life is full of ups and downs and we should learn to accept failure. Realizing the facts of life he pursues his degree once again but this time in a reputed and well established university. Years later he has lucratively accomplished his goal and now he is proud to be a civil servant shouldering enormous social responsibility for the brighter dawn of Bhutan.
Thus, I end up here with the message that what so ever happens in our life, accept it after all that’s our fate and it ensues for good.

Very sensible article.
This is what happens in Bhutan. Students are not getting an opportunity to pursue degree in the preferred field.

And the only University in Bhutan (RUB), the rules keep on changing where the students are penalized unnecessarily.

"Faculties are the king of the campus". I agree. So we have to be extra cautious.
After all that’s our fate.

Any way Mr. Rhigden.. keep on writing.
And yea...I went through your university website. You are the very lucky mey.
Study hard and good luck in ur life.
