We always heard that life at a university and that too in a foreign soil is like a dreamland. We were on our own journey to give the verdict to what we had been hearing for a long time. And we werent disappointed. The seniors have organized freshy activities for three consucutive days, possibly to let us feel homely and know eachother in a much better way. It was a kind of hospitality.

Even after the three day freshy activities we are still on what we call the high school fever. For the first timers, the events were a real nerve racking moment because it require a lot of courage. It was, in fact, a compulsion to attend to the group you were tagged with for the rest of the day even if anger is raging among them.
The three days freshy activites finally comes to an end with the freshy night party. The entry fee was a worth of a pack of noodle. Scrumptious food completes the table, ladies in hot and sexy attire with charming smile wellcomes the freshers. The simple studious students, who would even shy away when asked their names were seen grooving to the music. Everyone started feeling a little conscious about what they were wearing and how they would look  to others. It was one of the parameters one needed to do well in, as the theme of the show suggest as Vintage. It was the most exciting moment and the most challenging to see oneself react to the jeer  of the crowd  and maintain a steady stride as the same time.
Two students from each schools are elected as king and queen and are called infront to present some show. The music played hard and no body could stop themselves from dancing to the symphony of music. After the blinks and sparks of the light, the luckiest king and queen who got the loudest cheer are crowned as King and Queen of the phenomenon.
The entire program continued untill it was not physically possible to dance anymore. The most fascinating part of the evening was to watch the confidence of students boom out and how to socialization better articulated the bond of being in the SIU family.

more than happy to learn that you are now done with the freshers party, the most awaited moment to set free from the jeers of seniors. Now I am sure that you will have good time in every nook and cranny of the University in doing what you like and what you wish unless it interferes sbs business lol. Now look back to those days where you mentioned as disgraceful platform, I am sure you will start laughing and this is the twist of memory.
Till then Have a wonderful days ahead.
Cheers
